COSMOOSE
About

One person, one company, and a very specific complaint.

Cosmoose is built by Jacob Chappell, through J1 Media Productions LLC, an Arizona company. There is no team page because there is no team.

Where it started

I run a content business. Posting across several platforms is not the interesting part of that, it is the tax on it, and like everyone else I went looking for a tool to carry the tax.

Before building anything I read 225 reviews of nine publishing tools. I was expecting to find a feature gap. What I actually found was that the people writing the one and two star reviews mostly were not complaining about features at all. Roughly half of them were not saying the tool was too limited or too complicated. They were saying some version of the same thing: these people took my money and disappeared, or my post did not go out and nobody told me.

That second one turned out to be the sharp end. Complaints about a post failing silently carried far more anger than complaints about a missing feature. It is the moment people leave, because it is the moment they find out the thing they were paying for was not happening.

Why it repairs instead of retrying

Every tool in the category already retries. A retry throws the same rejected file back at the same wall on a timer, and when the reason for the rejection is in the file, it fails the same way every time until it gives up.

Nobody was reading the error and fixing the cause. That is a strange gap, because the platforms tell you exactly what is wrong. They just tell you in a format written for a developer, at a moment when nobody is looking.

So that became the product. Read what the platform said, fix what caused it, publish again, and say what changed in a sentence a human would say. The repair engine is the whole reason this exists rather than being one more scheduler.

What I believe about building this

  • Terms are a feature. Half the anger in this category is about billing. One-click cancel and full export cost almost nothing to build and fix the most common reason people leave.
  • Never say a post went out when it did not. Everything else is negotiable. That one is not.
  • No number goes on this website until it is measured. There is no catch rate on any page here, because we have not earned one yet.
  • Software, not a service. Nothing in this product depends on me doing work for one customer by hand, because that does not scale past me and it would make the price a lie.
  • Show the work. What shipped, what broke, and what changed goes on the changelog, including the parts that are unflattering.

Who it is for

Solo creators who already sell something, and post to more than one platform to sell it.

That is deliberately narrow. If you post as a hobby, the free tier is real and it is genuinely enough, and I would rather you stayed on it than paid for something you do not need. If a post that quietly failed costs you a customer, that is the person this was built for.

It is not built for agencies running fifty client accounts, and there is no team plan. That may change. It has not yet.

The honest part

Cosmoose is in private build. The app works. Platform integration reviews take as long as they take and cannot be rushed from this side.

There are no customers yet, which is why there are no testimonials anywhere on this site and no logo wall. The first hundred accounts are how the product gets measured, and their numbers get published here whatever they turn out to be.

If you email support, I am the one reading it.
