Effective: 21 August 2026 · Last updated: 21 August 2026

1. What Cosmoose is
Cosmoose is a hosted tool for scheduling and publishing content to social media accounts you connect. When a publish fails, it reads the error the platform returned, works out what caused it, repairs what it can repair, and publishes again. You choose whether it does that automatically or waits for your approval.
2. What we promise, and what we do not
Read this section before anything else, because it is the one people get wrong.
- We do not guarantee delivery. Publishing depends on third-party platforms. Their APIs go down, their rules change without notice, tokens expire, and accounts get restricted. None of that is ours to control and none of it is insured by us.
- What we do promise is the diagnosis and the repair. If a post fails, we tell you what broke it, we fix what can be fixed on our side, and we try again. That work is ours and we own it.
- We do not write your posts. You do. We do not guarantee reach, engagement, followers, leads, sales, or any business result.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 13, and old enough in your country to enter a contract. If you are using Cosmoose for a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
- Give us accurate information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for your login and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us fast at support@cosmoose.io if you think it has been compromised.
- One person per login. Do not share credentials.
4. Your content
Your content stays yours. We claim no ownership of anything you upload or publish through Cosmoose.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reformat, and transmit your content, strictly to run the service for you. That includes resizing an image, re-encoding a video, or trimming a caption when a platform rejects the original. The license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for the backup window described in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm you own or have the rights to everything you upload, and that publishing it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law.
5. Connected social accounts
- You authorize each connection yourself, through the platform’s own permission screen, and you can revoke it at any time.
- You are bound by each platform’s own terms. Using Cosmoose does not exempt you from them, and we cannot get an account unbanned.
- We act only within the permissions you granted, and only to do what you set up. What we receive and how long we hold it is spelled out in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
- Platforms enforce rate limits and content rules that we do not control. A limit you hit on their side is not a defect on ours.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Cosmoose to:
- Publish anything illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or sexually exploitative of minors.
- Send spam, run engagement schemes, or operate networks of fake or purchased accounts.
- Break the terms or the technical limits of a connected platform, including automating what a platform requires a human to do.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or rebuild the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Upload malware, or anything that damages or overloads the service.
- Impersonate anyone, or publish on an account you are not authorized to publish on.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks this section. Where the breach is not serious and can be fixed, we will normally ask first.
7. AI features
Some features use AI, including failure diagnosis and repair suggestions. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or similar to output generated for someone else. Review it before it publishes. You are responsible for what goes out under your name.
8. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- There is a free tier. It stays free, and the failure alerts are part of it.
- Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and in the app.
- We email you two days before your first charge. Nothing lands on a card as a surprise.
- Cancel is one click inside the app, self-serve, no email and no phone call. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
- Annual prepayment is optional. Choosing it does not lock you in: cancel and the unused portion is refunded on a pro rata basis.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
- If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. Unresolved non-payment can suspend or close the account.
- We can change prices. Existing subscribers get notice before a change takes effect and can cancel instead. Where a founding rate has been granted, it holds for as long as the subscription runs without interruption.
Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep Cosmoose running and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features can change, and a feature can be removed. If we remove something material to a paid plan, we will tell you and you can cancel.
10. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from inside the app. We can suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or where the law requires it. On termination your right to use the service ends. Before you go, export your data. After you go, we handle what remains as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Our intellectual property
The service, the software, the Cosmoose name, the logo, and the brand belong to J1 Media Productions LLC. These terms grant you a limited right to use the service, and nothing else. Feedback you send us can be used freely and without obligation.
12. Third-party services
Cosmoose depends on services we do not run, including the social platforms, our hosting, our payment processor, and our AI providers. We are not responsible for their acts, their outages, or their decisions about your account.
13. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any post will reach any platform or any audience.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, J1 Media Productions LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, or lost business opportunity, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions. Where that is the case, they apply to the maximum extent permitted and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless J1 Media Productions LLC and its members and personnel from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your content, your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of a third party’s rights or a platform’s terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and both sides consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing here stops either side from seeking injunctive relief where appropriate, or from using small claims court.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get a new date at the top and, where it matters, an email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Cosmoose after that means you accept the new version. If you do not, cancel.
18. The rest
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
